PAF/PDS Process

 

Monthly 

To insure your monthly paperwork is processed, PAFs must be received in Human Resources by the 10th of every month.  If it needs signatures from the Budeget Office or Contracts and Grants, be sure it is sent to them prior to coming to Human Resources. 

Biweekly

To insure your biweekly paperwork is processed, PAFs must be received in Human Resources on the last day of the pay period (most often a Friday).  If it needs a signature from the Budget Office or Contracts and Grants, be sure it is sent to them prior to coming to Human Resources. 

 

Remember, any new faculty or returning faculty who did not teach in the fall (2013) or spring (2014) must complete Background checks BEFORE classes begin.  

 

Summer

PAF/PDS Dates 5/22/2014 – 8/7/2014

Returning Faculty due in Human Resources by Monday, May 12, 2014

Paperwork for Faculty who did not teach in fall (2013) or spring (2014) semester is due in Human Resources by Monday, May 5, 2014.  This paperwork is to include the Background Check (in a sealed envelope).

 

Fall

PAF/PDS Dates 8/18/2014 – 12/18/2014

PAFs for full Academic Year 2015 will be 8/18/2014 – 5/14/2015

PAF/PDS for returning Faculty due in Human Resources by Monday, July 21, 2014

Paperwork for New Faculty due in Human Resources by Tuesday, July 1, 2014.  This paperwork is to include the Background Check (in a sealed envelope).

If the paperwork needs signatures from the Budget Office or Contracts and Grants, be sure it is sent to them prior to coming to Human Resources.  Obtain the chair/director and dean signatures before delivering to the Budget Office.

PAFs for Full Academic Year 2015 route through chair/director, dean and provost for signatures.

  

December Notice

Due to (anticipated) early payroll closing in December, all employee paperwork to be effective in December must reach our office no later than December 5th (noon).   As a reminder, new employees may not be hired or begin work in December.
