Vialla Hartfield-Mendez (1983 - Spanish) spent a year in Salamanca, Spain on a Rotary Graduate Fellowship after graduating from USM. She is now teaching Spanish at Emory University and is married to Dr. Hugo Mendez. They have a daughter, Alexandra. In the spring semester of 1999, she directed Emory's Study Abroad program in Salamanca, Spain, where her husband was also teaching in the program. Last Updated: Apr 2008 |
