STORAGE FEES POLICY
Students will be charged for storage if they fail to remove all belongings when they leave the residence halls.
Reason for Policy/Purpose
This policy is required for the effective communication of university policy regarding storage fees in the residence halls.
Who Needs to Know This Policy
All students of The University of Southern Mississippi community living on campus.
Website Address for this Policy
When a student leaves the university but does not remove personal belongings from his/her room, the items become property of the university and will be disposed of after 30 days. Students claiming items within the 30-day time period will be assessed a $100 storage and packing fee.
The Director of Student Housing Administration is responsible for the review of this policy every four years (or whenever circumstances require immediate review).
