American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Student Chapter

ASID Welcome Back Party Start the new academic year off right by attending the ASID welcome back meeting and signing up for one of the many committees available for this year! The event will take place on Wednesday, September 17th from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and, of course, the meeting will be held in the interior design studio. This year's theme is "Black & White". So wear your favorite black and white outfit and join the festivities!

Remember: To attend the event, you will need to become a member prior to or the day of the event.

Join the Southern Miss ASID Student Chapter! To join the Southern Miss Student Chapter of ASID, please complete/print the 2009 Southern Miss ASID Application, and submit to any of the ASID Officers, the Faculty Advisor, or leave with Ms. Margaret in the Interior Design Program office. Total Fees are $70, which includes the $45 ASID national fee, $15 IDSA fee, and $10 MCIDL fee for the 2009 calendar year. ASID Student Chapter Elections Congratulations to the 2008-2009 ASID Officers!

Lacey Howell Winner of the 2008 Designer Doghouse The Southern Miss ASID Student Chapter has completed the building of the 2008 Designer Doghouse for the Southern Pines Animal Shelter Fundraiser. Congratulations to this year's doghouse winner Lacey Howell! Many thanks and appreciation to all the interior design students that signed up and attended Hub-Fest held on Saturday, March 29th and the Downtown Art Walk held on April 26th!
