About the Horn Studio
The Horn Studio at USM consists of both undergraduate and graduate horn majors and minors. Undergraduate students have the option to pursue degrees in Performance (BM), Education (BME), or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with an emphasis in Horn. Graduate students may pursue degrees in Performance (MM, DMA) or Education (MME). The studio is comprised of students from several different states and backgrounds.
At A Glance:
- The studio averages between 16-18 students
- Roughly half of the students are Music Education majors; the rest are either solely Performance majors or are dual majors in both Education and Performance
- There is a GA position in the studio; it will be open in the Fall of 2011--interested applicants should contact Dr. Lucas as soon as possible
