Adult Services
Adult services are based on a wide range of psychological approaches.
Types of services provided include:
- Individual therapy for a variety of emotional difficulties, including depression, anxiety, and stress
- Individual therapy for attention and behavioral problems
- Cognitive-behavioral therapy for other specific psychological disorders, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and panic disorder
- Evaluation for attention disorders, learning disorders, and other psychological concerns
- Pre-employment psychological evaluation for Public Safety officers (no self-referrals; referrals from police departments only)
Child and Adolescent Services
Child and adolescent services are typically provided from a behavioral or cognitive-behavioral approach. Therefore, parents are actively involved in treatment planning and services for their child.
Types of services provided include:
- Evaluation and treatment for attention or behavioral problems
- Evaluation and treatment for academic difficulties or developmental disorders, including autism
- Evaluation and treatment for social and emotional difficulties, including depression and anxiety
- Evaluation and treatment for other family and school-related problems
- Family therapy
- School consultations
- Consultations for issues related to chronic illness
- Gifted testing
- Social skills groups (specifically for children with an autism spectrum disorder)
