The Department of Psychology at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) offers graduate training in School Psychology, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association and approved by the National Assocation of School Psychologists.

Admissions Information

New students are normally admitted only in the fall semester. The deadline for receipt of admissions materials is December 1st, for admission the following fall semester. Applications received by December 1st will receive a full review.

Training Model

The primary objective of School Psychology training at USM is to prepare behavioral scientists who can apply their skills to the solution of a broad range of problems related to the processes of schooling.
