Research Assistant
Bio
Pappu is a junior computer science major and a research assistant at the Institute. At IAAS, he contributes to the World Ocean Database project, where he processes and analyzes global ocean data spanning from 1800 to 2024 to extract meaningful insights. In addition to this work, Pappu is engaged in data science research, developing machine learning models to better understand, interpret, and address real-world challenges using Python.
Pappu is enthusiastic about applying data-driven approaches to complex problems and is dedicated to advancing research that supports the Institute’s mission and scientific impact.
