Bio
Kenneth Christensen received his BA in Film Production in 1998 as a member of the University of Southern Mississippi’s Honors College. After a brief professional career in video production, Mr. Christensen returned to USM and completed his MA in Literature in 2005. His master’s thesis examined the appeal of the quest narrative for reluctant readers.
Mr. Christensen's teaching responsibilities include courses in the University Studies and Liberal Studies programs, particularly UNV 101 – Academic Support I, a course that aids freshman students with the transition into the university by focusing on methods to improve critical thinking, time management, and study skills. He also serves as an advisor for Exploratory Studies students and as program coordinator for the Liberal Studies program.
