Dr. Paula Diane Parker earned a Ph.D. in Accounting from Mississippi State University in 2004. Dr. Parker previously earned a M.P.A. and a B.S.B.A. degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Parker is a certified public accountant licensed to practice public accounting in Mississippi. Dr. Parker's dissertation, 'Earnings Management As It Relates To Pension Accounting', was published in September, 2004. Dr. Parker has published research articles in Advances in Accounting, Journal of Financial Economic Policy, Journal of Applied Financial Research, Journal of Accounting and Finance, Academy of Business Journal, Academy of Accounting and Financial Studies Journal, CCH - Commercial Lending Review, and the WG&L - Small Business Controller. She has presented her research at conferences such as the Southeast Regional Conference of the American Accounting Association, Southwest Regional Conference of the American Accounting Association, Academy of Business Research Internation
