Mr. Jared Hollingsworth



A Mississippi native and USM alumni, Jared Hollingsworth is an instructor within the Media and Entertainment Arts (Video Arts) program in the School of Communication. Prior to progressing into teaching, Jared was a director of newscast at WJTV in Jackson, Mississippi. He has served as a lead editor for TAD PGS, Inc., creating content for the Army National Guard. Additionally, he has experience in multiple positions within the independent film industry on both short and feature length films. This includes the positions of DIT, assistant sound mixer and more prominently, editor and colorist.
