Dr. Vijay Rangachari

Bio
Dr. Rangachari received his Ph.D in Biophysics from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India and did his postdoctoral training at the Institute of Molecular Biophysics, Florida State University and at Department of Neuroscience, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Rangachari’s research interests are to understand the molecular mechanisms involving intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) in norm and pathology. His research is also focused of protein amyloid formation in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer, Parkinson, frontotemporal dementia etc. Dr. Rangachari’s research is funded by NIH and NSF.
