Dr. Stephanie Smith

Associate Professor

Bio

Dr. Smith is an Associate Professor of Psychology and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She graduated from Brandeis University in 2003 with a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology. Dr. Smith then received her M.S. in 2007 and her Ph.D. in 2012 from the Clinical Psychology Program at the Florida State University. Upon graduating, Dr. Smith completed a NIMH T32 Post-Doctoral Training Program in Childhood Neuropsychiatric Disorders at the Yale Child Study Center. Her Childhood Neurodevelopmental Disorders Lab conducts research examining risk and resilience factors of externalizing behaviors in children and adolescents and how to augment intervention and prevention efforts for these youths. They are also interested in using technology to enhance the delivery of evidence-based treatments and applying state-of-the-art EEG methods to clinical research.
