Bio
Mississippi native Dr. Meredith Melvin Johnson, trains future music educators in diction, pedagogy, and literature as well as coaches collegiate level singers in multiple genres. She specializes in both classical and belt techniques and is an active adjudicator and vocal clinician, offering workshops for choral groups, showchoirs, musical theatre students, and church ensembles. In addition to her position as assistant professor of voice at The University of Southern Mississippi, Dr. Johnson also serves as Musical Theatre Director and Voice Faculty at the Institute of Performing Arts International in Bavaria, Germany. She also offers training to students around the globe with her online presence in her Virtual Vocal Academy.
