Dr. Bridgette Davis
Assistant Teaching Professor
Bio
Dr. Davis is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Education in the School of Education, bringing a wealth of experience as a military daughter and wife, and secondary school science teacher. Building upon her diverse K-12 background, she earned a B.S. in secondary biology and chemistry education, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Ph.D. in K-12 Reading. Dr. Davis is dedicated to training highly effective teachers to prepare K-12 students for success while bridging the gap between theory and practice in education. She seeks to build lasting relationships with students while helping them to set AUDACIOUS GOALS goals and to have the Southern Miss GRIT to achieve those goals. SMTTT!
