Bio
Michelle has been a practicing nurse for over 29 years. Michelle began her career in critical care nursing. Michelle has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings such as outpatient medical clinics, school nursing and home health. Michelle holds several national certifications. Michelle is certified in medical surgical nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, a clinical nurse leader certification from American Association of Colleges of Nursing and a critical care nurse certification from American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Michelle began teaching nursing full time in 2005 at California State University, Bakersfield. Michelle is currently a full time nursing faculty at the The University of Southern Mississippi campus.
