Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor
Arad Gigi (PhD, Florida State University, 2018) is an expert on the French Caribbean, modern France, and the Atlantic World. His research explores the formation, evolution, and operation of the early-modern French Empire in the Caribbean. His research was supported by a French government Bourse Chateaubriand, Jane L. Keddy Memorial Fellowship at John Carter Brown Library, William L. Clements Library Fellowship for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in American History, and by the Institute on Napoleon and French Revolution at Florida State University.
