Bio

Dr. Susan Clark, assistant teaching professor in Child and Family Sciences and curriculum specialist at the campus-based Center for Child Development (CCD). The CCD can serve approximately 100 children birth to 5 years of age and serves as the primary training facility for early childhood education students.

Dr. Clark earned her doctorate at The University of Texas at El Paso where she also taught undergraduate and graduate early childhood courses in the department of education. Prior to joining USM, Dr. Clark worked in policy development with the Louisiana Department of Education, was a Training and Curriculum Specialist in military-based child development center and taught all high school Family and Consumer Sciences Courses.
