Dr. K. Chimène Gecewicz
Assistant Professor
Bio
With over two decades of experience in teaching and leading language education programs, I am a passionate and dedicated TESOL professional. As an Assistant Professor in TESOL at the University of Southern Mississippi, I train master's students in the theory and practice of applied linguistics, second language acquisition, course design, and curriculum development. I also supervise undergraduate students during their teaching field experience, ensuring they receive quality feedback and support.
My background in anthropology enriches my approach to TESOL and enables me to create engaging and inclusive learning environments for diverse learners in both face-to-face settings and online.
