Bio

Aaron Allen, Jr. is a Contemporary dance artist from Chattanooga, Tennessee whose research and choreographic practices are centered around transformative ideologies rooted in identity, the African Diasporic lens, and the underground ball scene of the 1960s and 1980s. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Dance Performance from Middle Tennessee State University, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Colorado Boulder.
