Bio
Sonia Wasan, CA, earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from Louisiana State University. She has published in reputed peer-reviewed journals such as Advances in Accounting, Accounting Educator’s Journal and Journal of Theoretical Accounting Research. Her research interests include capital markets response to accounting information, accounting education, and corporate governance. She has held tenure-track positions with Virginia Commonwealth University and Northern Kentucky University in the past. She teaches courses in different levels of financial accounting.
