Application Deadlines
The applications for graduate study are available through the following dates:
Domestic Application Deadlines

- Many programs have early priority deadlines for reviewing applications. Please contact the office of your prospective major for additional information.
- To be eligible to receive an assistantship, new students should be admitted and enrolled in courses by July 1 for Fall admission, December 1 for Spring admission, or May 1 for Summer admission.
Application Requirements
All graduate applicants will be required to supply the following documents:
- A completed online application and $60 application fee.
- Official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions from which a bachelor’s
degree or higher degree was obtained AND official transcripts for all work completed after obtaining the bachelor’s degree,
including undergraduate and graduate coursework. Junior/community college transcripts
are NOT required. (Applicants who are applying for nursing programs and have earned
an Associate’s of Science-Nursing should include those transcripts.)
- Some programs require results from a standardized, graduate-level exam (typically
the GRE) or in the case of many Education programs, results from the Praxis. Applicants
may contact the office of their major to determine whether other results are acceptable.
- Most programs require 3 letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to
the applicant’s academic performance. Applicants may contact the program of their
major to determine if the program will accept non-academic recommendations.
- Other supplemental materials such as a résumé, statement of purpose, writing sample, etc. may be required for specific programs.
