O’Sullivan Contributes Expertise on Annual Percentage Rate to WalletHub

Dr. Jennifer A. O’Sullivan, an assistant teaching professor of finance in The University
of Southern Mississippi (USM) Gulf Park’s School of Leadership, was recently featured
in WalletHub's piece about the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), “What is APR?” written
by WalletHub Managing Editor John S. Kiernan.
In her contribution cited in the article, Dr. O’Sullivan urged consumers to be vigilant
about paying attention to APR when making decisions about taking out loans of any
type, and to also employ financial calculators to assist them in making informed choices.
“It is very important that consumers use a financial calculator, such as the ones on WalletHub, to understand the true cost of a purchase and to compare loan offers,” Dr. O’Sullivan noted.
