USM Team Creates Respirator Mask to Aid Nationwide Deficit

Medical professionals in the Pine Belt who are treating patients with COVID-19 gained access to 250 respirator masks and counting over the weekend, thanks to a University of Southern Mississippi (USM) mathematics professor.

“100 Years and Counting! African American Women in the Suffrage Movement,” an interactive program sponsored in part by The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) Center for Black Studies, will be held Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. at the historic Eureka School building, located at 410 E. Sixth St. in downtown Hattiesburg.
