This workshop series is here to help you master the adulting essentials you don't learn in a classroom - from building financial literacy and effective communication skills to building healthy habits and prioritizing self-care.
Whether you’re weeks from graduation or just getting started, these sessions will help you feel confident, capable, and ready for whatever comes next.

FALL 2026 Workshops
Want to get involved but not sure where to start? Eagle Hub is your key to finding involvement opportunities and getting connected to your Southern Miss community. In this workshop, you'll learn how to navigate Eagle Hub, stay on top of involvement opportunities, and make the most of your engagement experience at Southern Miss.

Credit Savvy is an interactive financial literacy game that allows students to experience how everyday financial decisions can affect their credit scores. Through discussion and reflection, students gain a better understanding of the factors that influence credit, learn strategies for building and maintaining healthy credit habits, and recognize the long-term impact that financial decisions can have on their future.

Flat tire? Dashboard light? No problem. Learn simple, practical car maintenance tips that will help you stay safe, save money, and feel more confident behind the wheel. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to safely change a tire, use basic tools, and get back on the road with confidence. Because adulting means being ready for anything—even a blowout on the way to class or heading home for the holidays.
