City of Pearl, Mississippi

The University of Southern Mississippi Trent Lott National Center lead a strategic planning process for the city of Pearl. This planning process was a result of a new mayor sworn into office with the mission to improving the city. The planning process consisted of conducting preliminary economic research to create an overview of the city and greater Pearl areas; engaging in meetings with the mayor and key community leaders; and constructing a plan based on the information learned from overviews and committee meetings.
