True South Basic Economic Development Scholarships

The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) accredited True South Basic Economic Development Course is an introductory course exposing participants to the fundamentals and practice of creating jobs, increasing wealth, improving the tax base and enhancing a community's quality-of-life, and is the first step in pursuing a professional certification.
Generous sponsors have funded a number of scholarships for particular categories of individuals who could benefit from this course. These include:
- ADP Ron Swager Scholarship for deserving new economic development practitioners
- Mississippi Power Chuck Ueltschey Scholarship for elected officials in the Mississippi Power region
- The Charles 'Chuck' Ueltschey Family Economic Development Partner Scholarship
THE 2023 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION WINDOW IS NOW OPEN.
