Transfer Academic Scholarships

All Fall Transfer Scholarships require that a student be admitted to the University by the August 1 deadline.

All Spring Transfer Scholarships require that a student be admitted to the University by the January 5 deadline.

All academic records, including final transcripts, must be submitted to the Office of Admissions by the scholarship deadline.  All supporting documentation must be submitted in the GO System by the scholarship deadline.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRANSFER ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP

Automatic consideration upon admission

  • Value is $2,000 per semester. Total value is $4,000 - $8,000, depending on transfer credit hours.
  • Students with a cumulative college transfer GPA of 3.0 or above are eligible.
  • Students with 48-89 transfer credit hours will receive the scholarship for 2 years (4 fall/spring semesters).
  • Students with 90-119 transfer credit hours will receive the scholarship for 1 year (2 fall/spring semesters).
  • Students transferring from any accredited community college are eligible.
  • May only be combined with the Transfer Eagle Scout/Gold Award Scholarship.

  

UNIVERSITY TRANSFER ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP 

Students must apply in the Golden Opportunities Scholarship and Competitive Programs Application System (GO System).  Standardized test scores and high school transcript must be submitted to the Office of Admissions by published deadlines.

  • Value is $2,000 per semester. Total value is $4,000 - $12,000, depending on transfer credit hours.
  • Eligible students must have a minimum 21 composite ACT score, a 3.0 core high school GPA and a 3.0 cumulative college transfer GPA.
  • Students with less than 48 transfer credit hours from a four-year institution will receive the scholarship for 3 years (6 fall/spring semesters).
  • Students with 48-89 transfer credit hours from a four-year institution will receive the scholarship for 2 years (4 fall/spring semesters).
  • Students with 90-119 transfer credit hours from a four-year institution will receive the scholarship for 1 year (2 fall/spring semesters).
  • Students transferring from any accredited four-year institution are eligible.
  • May not be combined with other Transfer Scholarships administered through the Office of Undergraduate Scholarships.
