Hollie Gabler Filce, Ph.D.
Associate Professor/ Coordinator for Special Education Programs
Dr. Hollie Gabler Filce earned her Ph.D. in Special Education at the University of New Orleans in 2001. She currently coordinates the graduate programs in Special Education, and teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Since 2005, Dr. Filce has served as the Director of Mississippi’s State Personnel Development Grant, REACH MS which provides training and technical assistance on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). In addition to PBIS, her research interests include individuals with significant disabilities, family systems and supports, and children with special healthcare needs. Dr. Filce has numerous invited and referred publications, and has presented extensively at the state, national and international levels. She has been an appointed member of the Mississippi Special Education Advisory Panel since 2004, and is a past-chair of the Panel. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Pull-Thru Network, an international non-profit organization for individuals with special healthcare needs affecting continence. View Dr. Filce's vita.
