Graduation Rate and the AMFTRB National Exam: While there have been a number of students since 2005 who have chosen to leave the program due to family crises, personal crises, choosing a different field of study, or some other reason, the vast majority of the students who are selected for our program finish within the advertised time. Students who choose to take the AMFTRB National Exam, a requirement for licensure in the state of Mississippi as well as in many other states, are very successful. With an overall 96% pass rate, our student pass rate is higher than the national average.

Licensure Rate: After graduation, students who seek licensure in the state of Mississippi are required to obtain a minimum of two-years of post-graduate supervision by either a State of Mississippi Approved MFT Supervisor or an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. By the time our alumni are eligible for licensure, several of them have moved to other states or have pursued education at the doctoral level. We acknowledge that the percentages in this column are most likely lower than the actual licensure rate since it reflects only the alumni who we still have contact with and who can confirm their licensure status.  Additionally, many alumni listed in this column are still working towards licensure.
