Loan Processing
If you have never received a Federal Direct Stafford Loan, but plan on doing so for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year, you must complete Entrance Loan Counseling and a Master Promissory Note by visiting StudentLoans.gov. Remember, you will need your FAFSA PIN to complete these steps.
 
Verification
If you were selected for verification, you are encouraged to submit all the necessary documents in a timely manner. Not doing so could delay the processing of your financial aid.
 
 2013 Summer Financial Aid Application: Students desiring financial aid to attend the 2013 Summer Session should complete the Summer financial aid application through their Southern Miss SOAR account.
