This session Tips and Tricks Session in MS Word will explore productivity little-known productivity generating strategies. Topics will include: Creating your own shortcuts using auto correct, fractional line spacing, adjusting font spacing, highlighting a field of text, auto date, reveal hidden characters, remove formatting, creating native and excel tables in word, sorting, creating bullet and numbered lists, styles, smart art, and customizing the quick access toolbar.
This session will cover the basics but include many tips and strategies for experienced Excel users. Topics will include: cell fills, basics operations, merging cells and other cell options, logical operators, time functions and data validation. Practical applications of these tools will also be shared.

This session will delve deeper into some of the areas we focused on in session 1 including, more advanced functions, nested if statements, Isblank, additional time functions, sorting and grouping, linking between multiple sheets, “Vlook up”, simple pivot tables and simple charts.
This session will look at emerging trends in paperless operations and the effective use of both local networks and cloud services. Additionally, we will explore laws associated with records retention in an educational setting.

This session will examine the three communications styles, (hostile, aggressive and passive) and why in most cases assertive communication is best. How to use assertive communication to address common challenges in interactions with customer, colleagues, and administrators also will be addressed.
