Welcome to the room selection process page for Fall 2024 - Spring 2025!

If you are here, this means that you are getting ready to select your room for the Fall 2024 - Spring 2025 semesters. Below is some information pertaining to that process, and be sure to check your USM email for further information from Housing.

For students who have applied for housing and will begin residing on campus for the Fall 2024 - Spring 2025 semesters, the room selection process will begin shortly. You will soon receive an email from Housing that contains information with the day and time you can log into the Housing Portal and start the process.

How to select your room:

Once your day and time has come to select your room, log into the Housing Portal and select the "Application Portal" link under the Applications and Assignments tile. From there, you'll want to select the "Selection Process" link, where you can then proceed with selecting your room.

Please Note: You can also view your room selection date and time under the "Selection Process" link if you missed it in your email.

Housing Options:

If you're unsure of the housing options we offer on campus, please click here to view our different options. Please keep in mind that this doesn't mean all options you view will be available when it's time for you to select your room.

Please Note:

• For upperclassman students, the room selection process happened in February.
• For transfer students, the room selection process happened in March.
• For incoming freshman students, the room selection process will begin in May.
