Provides operational support for the university's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, SOAR (Southern's Online Accessible Records-Student and Faculty/Staff), SOARFIN (Southern's Online Accessible Records-Financials for financial administration and reporting) and SOARHR (Southern’s Online Accessible Records-Human Resources and Payroll).
This includes upgrades, patches, development, testing, data extraction, data import, research and trouble shooting, and analysis.
Faculty, staff, administration, departments, affiliates and others are eligible
Development requests are reported and tracked via the SOAR Software Development Request (SDR) process. This is accessible by signing into SOAR and navigating to Home > USM Utilities > Request for Development > Use > Request for Development.
Normal business hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
For SOAR, SOARHR, and SOARFIN problems or issues, enter a Help Desk work order and identify the type of problem/request as SOAR, SOARHR, or SOARFIN.
