We have many unique connoisseur varieties including deciduous native and nativar varieties.  Forget what you think you know about azaleas and check out our selection.

Natives:

This year we have a HUGE selection of native trees as well as many of our favorite shrubs for attracting birds and pollinators.  We have a very limited supply of Eastern Redbud and Rhododendron arborescens.

Tropicals:

Each spring we provide you with some of the hottest hardy tropical plants around.  Of course, we’ll have bananas, shell gingers, and elephant ears.  We have several varieties suitable for houseplants.

Fruit Trees:

Somewhere in your kitchen is an empty jar waiting to be filled with homemade preserves.  Don’t disappoint your jars!  Blueberries, pears, apples, peaches, mulberries, blackberries, and figs!  We have Chinese chestnuts and goji berries!  This year we have pineapple guava!

Asian selections:

Get your garden feng shui going with our selection of plants that are suited for Japanese style gardens including lots of evergreen confers of all sizes. Make a garden statement with a Kwanzan Cherry or Coral Bark Maple.  All of our selections are non-invasive.

Classic selections:

No southern garden is complete without Hydrangeas, Sweet Olive, and Gardenia.  Add some new classics to your backyard with Dwarf Abelia, Silver Mist Juniper, and Drift Roses.  Yes, we’ll have some Katrina Roses and Chinese Snowballs!

Perennials:

Keep the garden fun going every year! We have classic perennial selections like Agapanthus and Hostas along with some newer varieties of Dwarf Canna Lilies.

Annuals:

If you need marigolds, then go to Lowe's.  If you want truly unique annuals, then we've got you covered.  Summer Poinsettias, Tibouchina, and Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow make your color beds unique.

Succulents:

We always have a selection of some of our favorite succulents including Christmas Carol Aloe, Solver Squill, and Fairy Castle Cactus.

Proceeds will benefit the outreach programs at Lake Thoreau Environmental Center.  Come get your hands dirty and help support your local nature center!
