Chicago, Ill., Student Named College of Health Ambassador at Southern Miss

Sarina Murry of Chicago, Ill., was selected to serve as a College of Health Ambassador for the 2010-11 academic year at The University of Southern Mississippi. 

Students are selected to represent the College of Health as an Ambassador based on the student's academic achievement and leadership qualities. Ambassadors represent the college at a variety of campus and community events and are dedicated to expanding the College of Health by increasing the college student body and promoting health and excellence through research, teaching, and service.

Murry is a junior nutrition and dietetics major and the daughter of Greg Murry and Sylvia Moody. She is a member of the Student Dietetics Association where she serves as treasurer, the African American Student Organization, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and the American Dietetics Association.
