Baker, Lockett Receive Staff Council Awards

University of Southern Mississippi employees Rich Baker and Elayne Lockett have been recognized for their commitment to the university as recipients of the annual Staff Council Service Award.
Baker, who won the fall 2010 honor, is executive assistant in technology support, while Lockett, the spring 2011 honoree, serves as information services supervisor in University Libraries. The winners are selected from nominations made by their peers on campus.
The Staff Council Service Award recognizes a university employee for dedication, leadership, services and unselfish contribution of time and effort in the promotion of the mission and goals of the university. Any part-time or full-time employee with a minimum of one year of continuous service to Southern Miss is eligible.
