Campus Group Organizes Donation Drive to Aid Tornado Victims

A University of Southern Mississippi campus group called TeamHelp 2011 will hold a donation drive from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4 at Shoemaker Square and inside the R.C. Cook Union Building to assist victims of the deadly tornado outbreak in Alabama.
TeamHelp 2011 is working in conjunction with the Southern Miss Campus Civitan Club to collect basic necessities for those affected by the devastating tornadoes. Items needed include water, canned goods, toiletries, clothes, toys and books. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
A benefit concert will also be held at a future date with all proceeds going to relief work in Tuscaloosa and the surrounding area.
