Coast Students Selected for Whos Who at Southern Miss

Four students from the Coast have been named to 2010-11 Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities at The University of Southern Mississippi.

The students are as follows:

Long Beach

·         Lindsay Ward, a business administration major, is the daughter of Larry and Vivian Ward. She is a member of Chi Omega Sorority, the Student Government Association, Eagle Connection, Lambda Sigma Honor Society, Panhellinic Judicial Council, Greek Seekers and Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society.

Bay St, Louis

·         Amy Gemelli, an architectural engineering major, is the daughter of Mike and Lori Gemelli. She is a member of Chi Omega Sorority, National Association of Homebuilders, Lambda Sigma Honor Society, University Activities Council and Diamond Darlings.  She also serves as an Honors College Ambassador. 

Ocean Springs

·         Nicole Nettles, an accounting major, is the daughter of Stephen and Dianne Nettles. She is a Southern Miss cheerleader and a member of Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society and Lambda Sigma Honor Society.  Among her campus activities she also serves as president of Order of Omega. 

Biloxi

·         Reagan Bridley, a business administration major, is the son of Chuck and Gretchen Bridley. He is a member of the Golden Eagle Welcome Week executive team, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Southern Style, the Student Government Association and the Summer Conference Staff.

There were 40 students at Southern Miss selected for this prestige award.  Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities is the highest award the academic community bestows. Students are chosen based on the following criteria: grade point average, community involvement, future leadership ability and/or potential and participation and leadership within school organizations and extracurricular activities.
