Jackson, Ala., Student Selected for Whos Who at Southern Miss

Lacey Blankenship of Jackson, Ala., has been named to 2010-11 Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Blankenship, a biology licensure, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Blankenship. She is a member of the Baptist Student Union Leadership Team, Legacy Board, Leadership Executive Team, Eagle Connection and Delta Gamma Sorority. Among her campus activities she is also president of The Legacy and head mascot.
Blankenship was one of 40 students at Southern Miss selected for this prestige award. Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities is the highest award the academic community bestows. Students are chosen based on the following criteria: grade point average, community involvement, future leadership ability and/or potential and participation and leadership within school organizations and extracurricular activities.
