Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Southern Miss Makes Donation to Pink Ribbon Fund

Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Southern Miss contributes $1,500 to Pink Ribbon Fund

Kappa Sigma Fraternity at The University of Southern Mississippi recently made a donation of $1,500 to the Pink Ribbon Fund, which provides financial support for women receiving treatment for breast cancer. The fraternity raised the funds for the donation through T-shirt sales. On hand for the presentation of the donation to the organization were members of the fraternity and in the center, from left, Southern Miss President Dr. Martha Saunders; Kappa Sigma President Zack Knight, a senior from Gulfport, Miss.; Pink Ribbon Fund co-founder Susan Light; and Deanna Favre, wife of former Southern Miss and NFL quarterback Brett Favre, whose Favre 4 Hope Foundation supports the Pink Ribbon Fund.  

The Pink Ribbon Fund's stated mission is to compassionately assist Pine Belt breast cancer patients with financial support for their diagnosis and treatment, as well as quality of life issues resulting from their illness.
