Lansford Writes Chapter on Mississippis 4th Congressional District for New Book

Dr. Tom Lansford, academic dean and political science professor at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast, wrote the chapter “Mississippi District 4: A Conservative Democrat Loses to a More Conservative Republican,”in the edited volume The Roads to Congress 2010 by Sean D. Foreman and Robert Dewhirst.

The Roads to Congress 2010, published by Lexington Books this year, will take readers down the path of seven House of Representatives and six Senate races from inception to election postmortem. Each entry was written by one or more experts living in the state or region of the race. The publisher describes the work as providing an “analysis of an array of interesting and diverse contests from throughout the country.”
