Morgan Publishes in Top Journals, Makes Conference Presentation

Dr. Hani Morgan, an assistant professor in The University of Southern Mississippi Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Special Education (CISE) had two articles published in academic journals and presented his research at a national conference in the fall 2010 semester.

“Using handheld wireless technologies in school: advantageous or disadvantageous?” was featured in Childhood Education, regarded as one of the top journals in its field. “Arab students in American schools: What schools can do to provide a fair education,” was published in Multicultural Review, an award-winning journal with articles about innovative classroom practices, vital issues affecting education, and hands-on classroom activities, among other topics.

In November, Morgan presented “Providing a Fair Education for Arab Students in American Schools” Nov. 3-6 at the National Association for Multicultural Education Annual Conference in Las Vegas.
