Nesbit Student Selected for Whos Who at Southern Miss

Stephanie Latza of Nesbit, Miss., has been named to 2010-11 Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Latza, a history and social studies licensure, is the daughter of Steven Latza and Desiree Latza. She is a member of the Student Government Association, Golden Eagle Welcome Week executive team and Southern Style. Among her campus activities she also served as president and vice president finance for Delta Gamma sorority, Honors College Ambassador and co-chair of community service for the Catholic Student Association.
Latza was one of 40 students at Southern Miss selected for this prestige award. Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities is the highest award the academic community bestows. Students are chosen based on the following criteria: grade point average, community involvement, future leadership ability and/or potential and participation and leadership within school organizations and extracurricular activities.
