Southern Miss Panhellenic Council Brings Home Award

The College Panhellenic Council at The University of Southern Mississippi brought home the Panhellenic Relations Award during the annual Southeastern Panhellenic Conference held April 2 in Atlanta, Ga.

The award recognizes the relationship the Council possesses with each of the seven outstanding sorority chapters on the Southern Miss campus. Eight students at Southern Miss comprise the Panhellenic Council. The seven chapters involved include: Delta Delta Delta; Chi Omega; Kappa Delta; Delta Gamma; Phi Mu; Alpha Delta Pi and Pi Beta Phi.

“Our relationship with the chapters is special because we communicate as one,” said Southern Miss junior Chelsea Borries, who serves as vice president of public relations for the Council. “What's wonderful is that yes, we do operate individually, but we all know that we are one unit at Southern Miss. We are willing to help and assist each other in any possible way we can.”
