Parent Support Group for Military Families to Meet July 28

A parent support group for military families (active duty, retired or reserves) with a child with special needs will meet from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28 at the Technology Learning Center located on the Southern Miss Gulf Park campus in Long Beach, Miss.

The group topic for this meeting is “Military Families of Children with Special Needs: What Concerns You Most?”

Early Connections Learning Center Has Openings

Do you live in Lamar County and want more than basic child care for your money?

Early Connections, a pre-K Learning Center jointly operated by the Lamar County Schools and The University of Southern Mississippi, has a limited number of opening for 2-3-4-year-olds. All classrooms have certified teachers with an aide and class sizes are small.
