Ocean Springs Student Selected for Whos Who at Southern Miss

Nicole Nettles of Ocean Springs, Miss., has been named to 2010-11 Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Nettles, an accounting major, is the daughter of Stephen and Dianne Nettles. She is a Southern Miss cheerleader and a member of Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society and Lambda Sigma Honor Society. Among her campus activities she also serves as president of Order of Omega.
Nettles was one of 40 students at Southern Miss selected for this prestige award. Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities is the highest award the academic community bestows. Students are chosen based on the following criteria: grade point average, community involvement, future leadership ability and/or potential and participation and leadership within school organizations and extracurricular activities.
