The Office of Sustainability and the University Climate Commitment Council at The University of Southern Mississippi are gathering campus opinions about sustainability through the annual issues and behavior survey.

“Your honest responses will greatly benefit the strides our university is taking to operate more sustainably and gain compliance with the American College and University President's Climate Commitment,” said Haley McMinn of the Office of Sustainability.

This is the university's third such survey and will cover various areas of sustainability including lifestyle choices, personal actions, sustainability beliefs, and the effectiveness of sustainability advertising. It should not take longer than five to 10 minutes to complete.

The survey can be accessed at this link:   https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GoGoldGoGreen

Participation in the survey is voluntary and for faculty, staff and students only. Persons under the age of 18 may not participate. All information gathered will remain anonymous and data collected will be used for research purposes only.

Respondents will have an opportunity to enter a chance drawing to receive one of three $100 Eagle Dining Cards.  Responses will be collected until May 11, 2011.
