Petal Student Cast In Smokey Joes Cafe at Southern Miss

Sawyer McLeod of Petal, Miss., was recently cast as Fred in the musical production, “Smokey Joe's Cafe” at The University of Southern Mississippi.
McLeod, a theatre major, is the son of Jackie McLeod of Petal, Miss., and Daniel and Jennifer McLeod.
Smoky Joe's Café is a seven-time Tony Award-winning music revue based on old favorites from jazz and R&B musicians Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The performance features 11 cast members consisting of theatre and music students.
