Registration Deadline Extended for Career Exploration for Girls Conference

The registration deadline has been extended until all spaces are filled for the Career Explorations for Girls Conference, set for Saturday, Oct. 8 at The University of Southern Mississippi. The event will be co-hosted by the Frances A. Karnes Center for Gifted Studies at Southern Miss and the Spirit of Women at Forrest General Hospital.
The conference is open to all girls in grades 7-12, who must be accompanied by their mother or another adult female. Participants do not need to be enrolled in gifted education to attend. There is no charge for the conference and lunch is included.
